Food Connect Basic Membership: Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Food Connect Membership Program (the "Program"). The Program is owned and operated by The Diordy Services Sdn Bhd (Company No. 1552314-D) ("we," "us," "our," or "Food Connect"). By enrolling and participating in the Program, you ("you," "your," or "Member") agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Program Enrolment & Eligibility

1.1. Eligibility: The Program is open to all individuals. While the Basic Membership is free of charge, Food Connect may introduce other membership tiers in the future which may require a purchase.

1.2. Enrolment: To become a Member, you must complete the official sign-up process on the Food Connect Membership web application (the "Membership App"), accessible via the Food Connect website or QR codes provided at our locations.

1.3. Information Required: You agree to provide accurate and current information during the sign-up process, including your name, a valid email address, and a valid mobile phone number.

1.4. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. You agree to create a secure password and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

1.5. Email Verification: Upon enrolment, a verification link will be sent to your registered email address. This link is valid for six (6) hours. If the link expires, you may request a new one via the "Reset Password" function in the Membership App. Your membership account will not be activated and you will be unable to log in or receive benefits until your email address has been successfully verified.

1.6. Membership Cost & Expiry: The Basic Membership is free of charge and does not have an expiry date.

2. Membership Benefits

2.1. Membership Discount: As a Member, you are entitled to a five percent (5%) discount on the total bill for all regular-priced food and beverage items purchased at participating Food Connect food courts. This discount does not apply to items already under special promotion or any other items as specified by Food Connect management from time to time.

2.2. Sign-Up Bonuses: Upon successful enrolment and email verification, new Members will receive the following one-time bonuses, credited to their Membership App account:

• One hundred (100) bonus Food Connect Points.
• One (1) digital coupon for a complimentary drink, redeemable only at the "Roast & Brew" stall at the participating Food Connect location. This coupon is for one-time use only and is subject to its own validity period as stated in the Membership App.

3. Food Connect Points System

3.1. Earning Points: You will earn one (1) Food Connect Point for every one Malaysian Ringgit (MYR 1.00) spent on eligible purchases at participating Food Connect locations. Points are calculated based on the final transaction value (after any discounts are applied) and can be awarded to two decimal places.

3.2. Point Accrual: Points will be credited to your account upon successful completion of the transaction.

3.3. Non-Transferable: Food Connect Points are strictly non-transferable and cannot be sold, pooled, or assigned to any other person or Member account.

3.4. No Cash Value: Points have no direct cash or monetary value until they are redeemed according to the official redemption rules.

3.5. Point Redemption:

• Standard Redemption (Cash Discount): The standard redemption option allows Members to convert points into a Cash Discount applicable to their purchases. The initial redemption value is set at twenty (20) points being equivalent to a one Malaysian Ringgit (MYR 1.00) Cash Discount. This Cash Discount is applied directly to your bill at the point of purchase.
• Redemption Rules for Cash Discount:
• Redemption must be in minimum increments of MYR 1.00 (i.e., in blocks of 20 points).
• A Member must have a minimum balance of 20 points to perform a redemption.
• A maximum of one hundred (100) points, equivalent to a MYR 5.00 Cash Discount, may be redeemed per single transaction.
• Other Redemption Programs: Food Connect may, from time to time, introduce other special and time-limited redemption programs. These may include, but are not limited to, redeeming points for special discounts on particular products or for other exclusive items.
• Program Updates & Modifications: All redemption programs, including the point-to-discount exchange rate and redemption rules, are subject to change at the sole discretion of The Diordy Services Sdn Bhd. All official and current redemption offers will be published on the Food Connect website. Members will be notified of any significant changes via their registered email address.

4. Member Identification at Point-of-Sale

4.1. Responsibility: To enjoy discounts, earn points, or redeem points for a Cash Discount, you must identify yourself as a Member before making payment at the Point-of-Sale (POS) counter.

4.2. Identification Method: The sole and mandatory method for membership identification is by presenting your unique Membership QR Code. This QR Code is displayed within the official Membership App after you have successfully logged in.

4.3. Failure to Identify: If you are unable to present your Membership QR Code at the time of purchase (for example, due to being unable to log in to the Membership App), benefits (discounts and points) cannot be applied to the transaction, and point redemption cannot be performed. Benefits cannot be retroactively applied after a transaction is completed. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a functioning device with access to your Membership App.

5. Account Management

5.1. Personal Information: You are responsible for keeping your personal information, including your email address and mobile phone number, accurate and up-to-date via the profile section in the Membership App. Food Connect is not responsible for any loss of points or benefits due to outdated or incorrect information.

5.2. Checking Balance: You can check your current points balance and view your transaction history at any time by logging into the Membership App.

6. General Conditions

6.1. Program Modification: The Diordy Services Sdn Bhd reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Food Connect Basic Membership Program, including these Terms and Conditions, its benefits, and its points system, at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on the Food Connect website and will be effective immediately. Continued participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of any such changes.

6.2. Privacy and Data Protection:

Compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA):

Food Connect Membership Program is committed to complying with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”) of Malaysia. By enrolling in and participating in this Program, you consent to the collection, processing, use, and storage of your personal data by The Diordy Services Sdn Bhd for purposes related to Program administration, transaction tracking, service improvements, and direct marketing in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You may request access to or correction of your personal data, or withdraw your consent, by contacting our customer service team via the contact details listed on the Food Connect website.

6.3. Abuse of Program: Fraud or abuse of the Program, including the pooling of points or misrepresentation, is strictly prohibited and may result in the termination of your membership and the forfeiture of all accumulated points and benefits without notice.

6.4. Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
